Access a Specific Bucket

Users with restricted IAM permissions may not have access to list all buckets. The bucket access feature allows these users to navigate directly to a specific bucket by name.

Procedure

1. Click the Data Management menu and select Data Browser on the left.

2. If the bucket list is not available, click the option to access a specific bucket.

3. In the Bucket Name field, enter the name of the bucket.

4. (Optional) In the Prefix field, enter a prefix to navigate directly to a specific folder within the bucket.

5. Click Access.

   The system validates access to the specified bucket. On success, the object list view for the bucket opens.

Note

This feature requires that the IAM user has at minimum the s3:ListBucket and s3:GetObject permissions on the target bucket.
