Change Data Listening IP

Important

This procedure does not apply to the ARTESCA+ Veeam Unified Software Appliance.

By default, the data plane is exposed on the workload plane CIDRs. This procedure exposes the data plane using Virtual IPs or using a different CIDR (or both if needed).

This procedure only applies to changing data IPs. If you want to change a node’s real IP, follow Change a Workload Plane Node IP.

Important

This procedure needs to be run on the bootstrap node. It will prompt you for all the information needed.

sudo ./artesca-installer configure-frontend data

Tip

You can enter all options from the command line, if you do not want input prompts. Check --help for information about the options.

Important

After changing the data plane IPs, you need to update the DNS resolution for the new IPs. You can refer to the General DNS Setup for more information.
