Virtual Machine Node Preparation

This section explains how to prepare virtual machines to deploy ARTESCA as a Software Appliance on top of a hypervisor.

ARTESCA is delivered as an OS ISO that can be installed on any virtual machine that meets the virtual hardware requirements. The requirements are hypervisor-agnostic, while each hypervisor has its own step-by-step preparation guide.

Note

For a single-node ARTESCA system, you can also use the pre-packaged .ova Virtual Appliance. To deploy a multi-node ARTESCA cluster, prepare one virtual machine per node as described in this section.
