Firewall

Depending on your use case, ARTESCA requires specific ports to be open in your firewall.

Domain Name System (DNS)

ARTESCA depends on accurate DNS configuration to work properly. It is recommended when you have a multi-node cluster with a load balancer.

However, you can still use ARTESCA without any external DNS.

Load Balancer

In a multi-node context, the system is highly available and the traffic is evenly distributed across the system.

Network Time Protocol (NTP)

ARTESCA requires accurate time synchronization. You will be required to provide FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name), or IP addresses of reachable NTP servers for clock synchronization.
